Whether you’re firing up the grill, hitting a hidden trail, or staying late for fireworks under the stars, this is the perfect weekend to get outside and explore.

Grab your red, white, and blue snacks and head to a scenic picnic spot. Michigan parks (and many across the country!) offer shaded tables, open lawns, and even lakeside views.
🚶♀️ Adventure Before the Fireworks
Take a peaceful hike, explore a new trail, or paddle a local river before ending your day with a fireworks show — nature’s best backdrop.
🎇 Find Fireworks in Nature
Many towns and cities hold fireworks shows in or near their parks. Bring a blanket and enjoy the view from your favorite outdoor spot.
